In my first column of 2024, I want to share some of the things we’re doing to modernise and improve your RAA member experience this year.
One of our mantras at RAA is ‘it’s better to be a member’ – now, more than ever.
These days, time is our most precious resource – we want to make your experience with RAA easier, faster and better. Improving our digital services is key. We pride ourselves on our personal approach – but we also want to help you when and where you need us, day or night.
We hope you’ve noticed the improvements to the RAA app and there’s more to come.
We’ve extended our popular in-app Road Service call-out requests to more areas and soon you’ll be able to get help via the app when you’re interstate. This will start in Queensland initially and we’ll look to expand into other states.
More transactions will be available on the app and online – like more online payment and self-service options when you renew a policy or download documents, and a better claims lodgement and tracking experience.
Finding the cheapest fuel is one of the most popular features of the app and now you’re able to follow fuel price trends to help you fill up at the best time in the cycle. Unless, of course, you’ve already made the switch to an EV… which we can help with too!
The ever-increasing cost of living is having an impact on everyone and we’re trying to provide relief on that front. Energy bills are a huge part of this, and we look forward to sharing some of the innovations we’re working on behind the scenes.
We still want to be able to experience all the great things SA has to offer, including our incredible food and wine. Watch out for our new member dining partners coming soon, with complimentary upgrades for members when you dine at a host of fabulous restaurants, cafes and wineries.
Don’t forget to use your member benefits with new offers all the time on groceries, fuel, retail and entertainment – especially in the school holidays.
We think there’s a lot to look forward to, including our exciting new brand campaign. RAA is proudly South Australia’s biggest, and most trusted organisation, with 120 years of history – and we can’t wait to celebrate this.
So, keep your eye out for a new character with a familiar twist... This is just a taste of what you can look forward to in 2024. It really is better to be a member.
