Festival Theatre

Be enchanted when the tale as old as time graces the stage in Adelaide for the first time. The Festival Theatre invites you to be their guest, waiting with bated breath as the rose wilts, the spell breaks and the source of true beauty is revealed. Dreamers of all ages will be spellbound as glamour, music and magic combine in this song as old as rhyme.

Winter Whale Fest

Victor Harbor

Southern right whales are making a splash this winter off the Fleurieu Peninsula coast. This month-long festival is ‘fin-tastic’ for the whole family. The event features art shows, educational forums, scuba adventures and so much more.

Adelaide Cabaret Festival

What brings satin and sequins to town? The world’s biggest cabaret festival. Raising the curtain for its 25th year, there’ll be glitz, glamour and show-stopping performances headlined by a dazzling lineup of talent. Get ready for the feathers, fish-nets and fanfare.

South Australian Orchid Fair

See Adelaide in full bloom as local orchid clubs carefully put their stunning flowers on display. Marvel at the range of sizes and colours, attend a repotting demonstration and get advice from experts for your own orchidaceous collection.

Step into the glow of Illuminate Adelaide as it lights up the night. Discover a dazzling blend of light, art, music, and technology, with the RAA Lounge offering members a warm space to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Out of this world: Australia in the space age

State Library of South Australia

Teleport to the dawn of the space age and discover Australia’s pivotal role in space exploration. Uncover groundbreaking achievements, iconic moments and the technology shaping our journey into space. There’s even a blast from the past with Australia’s favourite spaceman, Mr Squiggle, making an appearance.

British and Irish Lions Rugby Tour

For the first time in 12 years, the British and Irish Lions rugby team return to Australia. Don’t get caught offside. Be there to witness rugby history as the tourists face a combined Australia-New Zealand team in an epic showdown of skill, strategy, and power.
