A word from our CEO

It’s been a big year for RAA and our members, and one of the most defining in our 122-year history.

It’s all laid out in our 2024–25 Annual Report, which you can find at raa.com.au/AnnualReport on our website.

You’ll see our RAA family continues to grow – now more than 834,000 strong – reinforcing our status as South Australia’s largest member organisation.

Our patrols responded to 357,000 breakdowns, RAA Insurance helped members with $412 million in claims, RAA Travel booked 48,000 holidays and we completed the RAA Charge network.

While we continue to deliver trusted home, motor, energy and travel solutions you rely on, we also launched exciting new products, services and benefits to meet your growing needs.

We introduced RAA Energy, RAA Rewards and RAA Towing, expanding the ways in which we help members save money, power their home or help them on the roadside.

Of course, one of the standout achievements was preparing for the launch of our new insurance partnership with Allianz Australia from 1 July. This marked the start of an exciting chapter for RAA, bringing additional strength and investment into our organisation, so we can do even more for our members and the community.

The capital injection from this partnership isn’t just about stability and growth for RAA, it’s about returning value where it matters most – to you, our members.

Last financial year, members saved $43.9 million in loyalty savings and discounts, with 315,000 members saving millions through RAA Rewards.

While that’s amazing, we have 834,000-plus members, which means more than 500,000 people could be getting even more value from their RAA membership.

I often get feedback from members that they aren’t aware of the discounts they can get from having more business with RAA or through our many merchant partners.

A common one is the six cent per litre fuel discount available at Caltex, which is available to all our members.

You can save money at the bowser when you fill up, at the supermarket checkout, when you dine out at bars and restaurants, take the kids to the cinema, and the list goes on.

We’ll be doing more to ensure you know how much you can save just by flashing your RAA card.

With hundreds of partners across the state, at even more locations, some members are already saving hundreds of dollars each year.

And there’s more to come. We’re growing our list of partners and improving the deals on offer to provide even more relief for the household budget.

We’ll be letting you know more about those soon. For a full list of member offers available right now, scan the QR code on the next page, check out our website at raa.com.au/rewards, our app, or head towards the back of every edition of sa move where we showcase a selection of offers. You can also grab an RAA Rewards booklet from your nearest RAA Shop.

Looking ahead, our commitment is simple – to keep listening, keep evolving and keep delivering value back to you and our community. We’re excited about what’s to come, and we can’t wait to share more with you as this year and the next unfold.
